The farmhouse is generally described as comfortable and spacious. However, one guest mentioned the beds being too soft, which suggests that while comfort is high, it may not be perfect for everyone.
Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and a new bathroom. However, a suggestion for an additional shower room for larger parties indicates that there is room for improvement.
There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so this category cannot be scored. Guests should note that while the property offers many amenities, gifts are not mentioned and therefore not guaranteed.

Airie farmhouse is by far the best location we have stayed! If you want to get away from it all this is definitely the place to go! Just far away enough from civilisation but not too far for exploring some beautiful places. The farmhouse has everything you need and more! The log burner is lovely on a cool autumn evening. The views are spectacular from every window and something you could never tire of! We were very lucky to see the Aurora too!!! We absolutely loved our stay and our dogs loved it even more! Thank you for hosting us and we will be returning.

Location fantastic, feels very remote, but not too far from Castle Douglas. Our second stay in this property. The cottage has everything you need, but it’s all about the location, views and wildlife.
