Situated in a very quiet and secluded position in Rockcliffe yet only a short walk to the coastal path and the beach, this spacious modern house makes an ideal base for a family holiday with an upside down layout to make the most of the views from the upstairs sitting room.
Full of space and light and tastefully furnished in a modern style, the house is fully equipped with everything one could need. The garden is fully enclosed with the established hedges and shrubs ensuring privacy with an attractive setting. There is plenty of storage space for bikes and canoes in the detached garage.
Rockcliffe is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the area whilst retaining its unique character and atmosphere and is centrally situated for exploring one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of Scotland. Facilities abound for the outdoor enthusiast with sailing, mountain biking on the Forestry Commissions 7Stanes Trails and walking, all available locally. A number of golf courses are within easy reach. The neighbouring village of Kippford is easily reached by the Jubilee Path and makes for a pleasant stroll out for lunch or afternoon tea at either the popular Ark Tearoom or the Mariner Hotel or the Anchor Inn (spoilt for choice or one for each day of a short break!)

We had a fantastic, relaxing time at Millfield. The house is very well equipped, clean and well maintained; with stunning views from the upstairs lounge. The garden it sits in is a lovely feature as its location so near to a rural footpath to the coast and Rockcliffe itself. Tom the owner was extremely helpful but not intrusive. We really did not want to leave and could live at Millfield permanently!!
