So peaceful and remote, but close enough to Stranraer. The lodge was exactly as written, perfect for our family, loved the disabled access ramp and downstairs bedroom. The lodge was equipped with everything we needed. Weâve stayed in many cottages and this was by far the most outstanding in every way. Loved the personal touches by the owner. We all wish to go back!

We absolutely love it here! The house is perfect. You can either go on days out or stay local and spend as much time as you wish in the house. Itâs such a peaceful getaway, I canât praise this house enough. Iain & Marie are always on hand if you need anything. Their children who help out on the farm are lovely and very polite. If youâve any questions about the farm, they always stop to answer them and have a little chat. Honestly, if youâre thinking about booking this house, just do it, you wonât be disappointed!! We will be back next year!
