Overall, the house was great and worked really well for our hen party. The layout was ideal — plenty of space in the living and dining areas, and the kitchen was well-equipped for a group stay. The bedrooms were a good size and nicely set up for our needs.Unfortunately, the cleanliness wasn’t up to standard. There were stains on some of the bed sheets and towels, quite a few cobwebs around the house, and several of the cooking utensils needed washing before use. Communication with the host was also quite slow, with long gaps between replies, which made it a bit difficult to coordinate things. Additionally, the electricity in the pool area went out during our stay.

This place is truly amazing! I should say it is rubbish to keep everyone away as anyone reading this will book it!Myself and my family had a fabulous week here. The weather was atrocious, but you had everything here to keep you more than occupied! The swimming pool is a really good size, and deep enough! Great temperature, which I was worried about, as I cannot go in colder pools, but this pool was lovely, and the area the pool is in is as warm as the tropics! There is a sauna there by the pool and a toilet and shower. Handy hanging space for your costumes. At the end of the pool is a mezzanine, where you can look out above the pool and you can go outside and sit on the balcony. There is also a huge hot tub outside where you can gaze up at the stars at night, with no lighting out there it is beautiful. There is a courtyard and garden where the kids can play out happily and be safe. Plenty of room! This property has an annexe with a bedroom and ensuite which was a lovely touch. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs, three with king size beds, one with 4 single beds, and a bathroom.Downstairs there are three bedrooms, two with ensuite, and an extra toilet and shower in the hallway. There is a separate utility room with washer and dryer and sink, very handy! The main bedroom has the bed in the middle and a gorgeous outlook onto the garden with french doors. An amazing amount of cupboards and hanging space. A fabulous ensuite with jaccuzi bath, which is massive, and a separate shower! The main lounge has an amazingly big suite, so there is plenty of sitting room. There were 12 of us and we all had a lovely comfortable seat. The tv is 75 inches! A pool table at the other end of the room, so all can still watch the footie! There is a conservatory area with a bar inside, also good comfy sitting area, for those that want a bit of peace and quiet away from the tv.The kitchen is amazing, with huge island that everyone can get around, but also the biggest farm table that sits about 20 people! Large range cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher. Another big tv, for the kids! There is another toilet in the corridor, and there is an extra large fridge freezer across from it, so no worries about storage of your cold items. There is absolutely no shortage of storage space here at Westwynd, and storing all your bits and bobs, no worries, there are umpteen cupboards! We took 4 cars with us, and you could probably get twice that on the courtyard at the front.I have no hesitation in recommending this place, and I thank Stuart very much for a wonderful week to remember. Oh, and thanks for the free cakes, they went down a treat! See you again soon!
