We had a lovely stay at Birch Cottage. It was well equipped, clean and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise. Our two granddaughters loved the hot tub especially when it snowed one evening. They had fun at Landmark, a trip on the steam train and the local Escape Room. Birch Cottage proved a great base for a relaxing few days with our family.

Second time visiting and absolutely enjoyed ourselves again. The house is lovely and spacious with a huge garden and the hot tub was a real treat. We got heavy snow one day and my snow and dog loved sliding down the banks in the back garden. Even better, the roads outside were cleared when it snowed so you could pop out if you wanted to. Easy walking distance to Aviemore and lots of great places to visit near by. We were even visited in the garden by a red squirrel! Will definitely be back!

We spent Christmas at Birch corner, we had the most wonderful time. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need, everything was spotless and beds very comfortable. The only issue we had was the smart TV wouldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi in order to watch Christmas movies etc, I had read that the TV didn’t work as it should in previous reviews so messaged the manager before we traveled and was told that it worked perfectly so when we arrived and it didn’t this was disappointing, however a quick message to the lady managing the property and a lovely gentleman was there within the hour to sort the problem, it couldn’t be fixed so a fire stick was promptly delivered and this worked great. There is only a very small Tv in the large sitting room that has the log fire in and the large Tv is in the small sitting room, although the smaller room is cosy we struggled to fit everyone together comfortably together in this room, they really could do with putting a slightly larger Tv in the large sitting room. It wasn’t too much of a problem though and didn’t spoil our stay. Only a short walk into town where there are lovely shops and restaurants. The woods behind the house is a lovely place to go for a walk too. I would definitely recommend birch cottage and would visit again.
