Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This is a stunningly furnished, Scandinavian style self-catering log cabin sleeping up to six guests in the Croftside area of Aviemore.
Equipped with everything you could need for your special holiday, it is situated just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Aviemore, where you will find a wide range of shops, cafés, restaurants and leisure amenities nearby, including a swimming pool and cinema. The property is partially surrounded by a covered decking area, accessed from the spacious living area where you can enjoy a drink or something to eat after an energetic day out.
There is no shortage of things to do and see in the area. Rothiemurchas Estate, near Aviemore, is a wonderful area to explore, with a range of activities on offer. Visit a brewery or follow the Strathspey Whisky Trail; take a trip on a restored steam train; see bison, elk, bears and wolves roaming free in the Highland Wildlife Park; visit Britain’s only herd of reindeer; go white water rafting or clay pigeon shooting or hit the slopes in winter for skiing, snowboarding and dog-sledding. The choice is endless!

Fab 4 nights stay. Loads to do in and around Aviemore. Dogs loved the wooded bit in the garden. We will look to book again next year. Thank you

It was hard to find half decent accommodation for a reasonable price in Aviemore but Carn Eilrig fitted the bill. On arrival it looked much bigger and homely when inside. Only negatives were no high chair as requested and the baby cot had a broken panel but we managed fine.Everything in the lodge worked fine, all appliances just what was needed and great to have a little dishwasher. Some commented on no freezer but you can live without this.Walking into Aviemore takes 20 minutes but seems a lot quicker. Lovely view outside the decking, I can imagine the identical property next door would be even better due to having no trees. The bench outside has seen better days and is well past its sell by date.Beds were comfortable, good WiFi, excellent showers. Only other negative was some guest next door used the space closest to ours which was slightly annoying but not end of the world.Overall I'd recommend it and would definitely stay again. It's perfect for families with lots of space and a great location with decent value for money.
