The Pines enjoys a peaceful riverside setting within easy walking distance of the centre of the vibrant town of Aviemore. Furnished and equipped to a good standard, this detached property offers comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting on a holiday park. Aviemore is situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and is on the Speyside Way. It boasts a super choice of shops, restaurants, and bars. There is a wide range of outdoor activities available, including skiing and snowboarding, mountain and quad biking, climbing and hill walking, and a variety of water sports on nearby Loch Insch, Loch Morlich and the River Spey. Visit the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre or the Highland Wildlife Park at nearby Kingussie.
Within a few minutes’ walk is the lovely Spey Valley Golf Club and the Dalfaber Resort with its wonderful array of leisure activities. Visit the Landmark Forest Adventure Park at nearby Carrbridge, a wonderful fun filled activity centre. Further afield, take a trip to the beautiful west coast and the Isle of Skye, or a day trip to the Orkney Islands is well worth the effort. Visit the Moray coastline, which is peppered with little fishing villages and beautiful beaches and has been voted in the top 20 the best coastline destinations in the world. One word. Superb. This was a wonderful lodge, had everything we needed, fixtures and fittings were top class, cleanliness excellent. It was comfortable, cosy and a lovely place to come back to after a days hiking. It would have been easier to stay longer than a week. Thecsite was well maintained and very quiet. Would recommend and not hesitate to stay again. We also contacted the owner before our stay an enquiry. She was quick to answer and very kind with her answer. Thank you for everything.
