The house is stunning, set back from the road, each day the amazing views change, the sunsets-wow, close to the pub and great walks, close to Dunvegan- more restaurants the castle and beach. Cameras ready all the time !.

This beautiful three-bedroom retreat is ideal for families or groups looking for a peaceful getaway amidst Scotland’s breathtaking scenery. The heart of the cottage is the spacious, open-plan lounge, where a cosy wood-burning stove inviting you to unwind after a day of exploring the island. Adjacent to the lounge is the dining area, complete with a patio door that opens to the garden, allowing for indoor-outdoor living and offering the perfect spot for alfresco dining on warmer days. The fully equipped kitchen ensures you have everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay, and a separate utility room adds to the convenience, especially for longer stays. On the ground floor, there is a super king size bed which can be set up as a twin if required, with an en-suite shower room. A second shower room on the ground floor provides additional comfort for guests.
Upstairs, a charming gallery overlooks the dining area, adding to the cottage’s airy, open feel. Two further bedrooms are located on this floor, each with king size beds and thoughtfully decorated to reflect the cottage’s warm, inviting atmosphere. A well-appointed family bathroom serves these bedrooms, ensuring everyone has ample space and privacy.
Skye has the most stunning attractions. The Waternish Peninsula is a haven for walkers and nature lovers, with beautiful coastal paths and panoramic views, nearby, the village of Stein, home to the oldest inn on Skye and a Michelin Star restaurant (it is best to book). You can visit the historic Dunvegan Castle, Coral Bay, Neist Point Lighthouse, Clan Donald Centre in the south of the Island. For a good walk, head to the Quiraing or the Old Man of Storr or book a guided hike up one of the the Cuillins. There is something for everyone on Skye, you are never far away from the sea where you will have forever changing views and landscapes. In the evening, relax back at La Bergerie, keep your camera close as this is when you will get the most amazing sunsets, auroras and bird life, something only a photo can prove how stunning it is. What a wonderful property that was clean and well maintained. Very well equipped with stunning views. The owners were lovely and close if required. The photos on the website do not do it justice. Just lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at La Bergerie and really enjoyed our time here. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and felt like a home away from home.The location is beautiful, with stunning views we never tired of. It was a joy to return after exploring Skye and enjoy the peace and scenery.La Bergerie is an ideal base for discovering the Isle of Skye, and we would happily stay again. Highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

A magnificently presented property with attentive owners we had the pleasure of meeting. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped, this house is a rental model.In spite of atrociously wet weather we had a fulfilling week not least on account of superb accommodation to return to after braving the elements but also due to the irresistible dining opportunity at the local Stein Inn. Ten out of ten!
