  Our first time to Salthouse after many years spent visiting Thornham and surrounding area further up the coast. It has mad a wonderful change. The cottage has been comfortable and very well-equipped. The girls have especially enjoyed the choice of gardens for a game of football. We walked to Cley one day along the beach - great weather. To Blakeney and back from Cley stocking up on goodies from the Cley Deli, then buying lots of interesting books from the second-hand bookshop. I made my first trip to Cromer where we enjoyed learning about it history, then to Overstrand to see the cliff erosion. Off for our second meal at The Dun Cow where the food is excellent. We would love to come back again. We went up to the church where there is a small football pitch. We played a match - The Radford Rovers vs Fiorentina Azurri. The locals came to watch and were very impressed. Very happy Benji the dog who loved it as much as we did. Thank you.

  We've had a fantastic week in this beautiful house, thank you! There's so much to do even without having to leave wells - walking to the beach, crabbing on the harbour, wondering around the shops... Lots of great places to eat too - some how managed to get into The Globe for Sunday dinner without booking, and also enjoyed meals at The Bowling Green Inn (handily around the corner!) and the pigs in Edgefield. Enjoyed the train to Walsingham and a trip to Holkham Hall. The playground was a huge hit! Also loved ice creams from pretty much every outlet in Wells, and the playground behind. Perfect location as we've been able to walk everywhere, and so handy to have the Coop down the road. We love the house too - if you're ever thinking of selling up, let us know! we'd love to come back and hope to make a future booking - will be getting pestered by our children until we do! Thank you!   What can you say about Flint House other than it is simply fabulous! No expense has been spared in making this property a luxurious place to unwind, relax and enjoy all that the surrounding area has to offer. The house is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need and more! Under floor heating makes the house really cosy, hot water is constant and the log burner a bonus. Sighting is an ideal base to explore the area. The views are stunning. You have the best of both worlds, staying in a very rural village, yet the sea is only a five minute drive away. The Carpenters Arms next door offers great food, but book in advance as it’s very popular. All in all we had a fantastic stay at Flint House and none of us wanted to leave. Can’t recommend this house highly enough.

  Great cottage in a brilliant location. Recently enjoyed a stay at The Constable's House. It was in a brilliant location for accessing all the local shops, galleries, cafes, pubs, entertainment, harbour, beach etc. on foot as well as not too far from other places that were well worth a visit by car.The cottage was extremely spacious, cosy, clean and well furnished and equipped with lots of interesting artwork in every room. Special mention must be made of the comfortable beds and lovely bed linen and towels. Quiet location, lovely to hear the birds singing.The welcome pack was a nice touch and the handbook provided contained so much useful information. Alpacas passing the house, being taken for walks was an unusual sight which we really enjoyed!Would highly recommend.

  What a beautiful house in a beautiful corner of the world. The house fully served our needs and really added an element of luxury to our stay. Every detail appears to be taken care of, from fluffy towels, to a well stocked kitchen, plenty of toilet rolls, spare blankets, ample space, hi tech entertainment systems. A very stylish and well designed house in a great location (and a pub next door!) Highlights for us were cycling round Holkham Hall's stunning grounds and seeing the seals with Beans Seal Trips at Morston Quay. Wells beach with it beach huts was quite something. Thank you, we will recommend to all and will certainly be back.
