What our customers say about their holidays

Had a great stay at 22 Uppergate Street.
We booked very last minute (the morning of the day we travelled) leaving the hosts very little time to get everything ready, but everything went smoothly and was ready to go when we arrived. Property was easy to find and was in a fantastic location for access to the town and local attractions. A key safe by the door holds the front door key, allowing a âcontactlessâ check in. Inside you will find a dining table and chairs, large seating area (lounge) with TV. The owners had left plenty of instructions to help with your stay, including parking instructions and leaflets for things to do in the area. A pack of Welsh cakes had been left to enjoy (which I promptly did!) and some fresh milk in the fridge. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything you needed for a stay (plenty of plates, cutlery, etc.) and included a few of the basics that often get forgotten (salt, vinegar, etc.). On the first floor was a great sized bathroom, single bedroom and double at the front of the property. I did struggle a bit with noise from traffic and people walking past talking loudly but it wasnât a deal breaker that would stop me from returning, but be aware that if you are a light sleeper then the double room might not be for you. For me the location of the property outweighed the noise and the only time I noticed it was later at night. In the attic was a further two singles. Plenty of towels available, beds were comfy enough and overall more than enough room for 4 to 5 people to stay. No parking at the property but, thanks to the instructions left, had no issue finding free parking within a few minutes of the property. Even the paid parking wasnât too bad if you had to use it (around £7 per 24 hours). The property is a moments walk to the city walls and only a short walk to the town centre and castle. All easily walkable in around 10 to 15 mins at a gentle stroll. Highly recommended both as a property and from good hosting skills.

This is our third visit to Greystones.
It is very centrally located for Llandudno Town Centre and West Shore (you can walk to both quite easily). The location itself might not be the most scenic but you must take this into consideration with the location of the property. Overall, there is very little noise from the car hire company next door but if you are looking for scenic views, this is not the place for you. I did my research before booking and should add I have never booked the same accommodation more than once but have returned to Greystones three times. It is unusual (but such a bonus) to have four king sized beds, large bedrooms and a large sitting room, two bathrooms and an additional WC. Three large comfortable sofas in the large sitting room also. The ground floor bedroom is perfect for anyone with mobility issues as the shower room is right next to the bedroom. We will most likely return to Greystones for the location, room, cleanliness, and comfort. Was a little disappointed that there was very little in the way of things like washing up liquid / a cloth / extra bin bag etc as we were there for two weeks. A drop of milk or something extra other than a few tea bags would have been nice considering its rating and cost.

Beautiful house in a stunning location with views all around.
All rooms are decoarted in a lovely comfortable homely way. Really well equipped kitchen and lovely large dining room. Lovely large utility room with all equipment you need. Garden is a lovely large space and well closed off for dogs. The location is great - Only a short drive to beaches, shops and restaurants, but nowhere within walking distance. No pavements around the house either, if you walk anywhere itâs on the roads but they arenât busy. Also very well positioned to visit snowdon, Angelsey, Betws-y-coed, Conwy and much much more.. We had a great stay at this house. My only minor negative points are that the freezer wasnât clean and the sofas in the main living room are quite uncomfortable especially after a long day out. There are beds for 7 but only seats in the living room for 5? (We only had 5 in our family so it didnât matter to us) There are 2 additional sofas in the dining room though! Over all, I would recommend this house. This was our second stay here. The location is fab and the setting is beautiful as is the house. Just be aware that you will have to drive everywhere.

Great little terraced house in Conwy, set just inside the ancient town walls.
Perfect for us (two adults). There is one double, one single and one twin room so it would sleep 5 at max capacity. It is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Conwy, but there are a couple of take-aways and a great pub pretty much at the end of the road. The facilities are good; we would have much preferred a dishwasher instead of the washing machine, as this is supposed to be self-catering and I don't want to be washing up after every meal. We took our own cafetiere as the Sykes description did not list one, but there was both a cafetiere and a teapot in the property. We met the owners as we were leaving, they are a lovely couple and were interested to hear how we had got on in the house. The bedding is supplied and was clean and fresh - however the duvets were 10.5 tog, so in the summer months you might want to take your own summer-weight duvets. Parking: this can be a problem in Conwy but we were able to find free, on-street parking just up the road under the arch on every day (mid-June), about a 2 minute walk. For unloading/loading you can pull up immediately outside the property.

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Greystones in Llandudno.
We were delighted to find this property when searching on Sykes as the pictures looked great, and it did not disappoint. It has been tastefully decorated and is equipped with all you need for a relaxing week. All bedrooms are good sized doubles, with really comfortable beds, and all can be configured with either twins or king size beds. The self contained outdoor space was an added bonus for us with 3 young children. Equally, aside from the car and van rental next door, the house is on its own so the noise of our little ones didnât disturb anyone! The property is located within walking distance of west shore beach (much quieter than the north shore beach) and the rest of Llandudno is only a short drive or a walk away. There is tonnes to see and do. We can highly recommend Fish Tram Chips for the best fish and chips! The host Craig was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had great communication with him prior to our arrival, and throughout the week. We would absolutely recommend Greystones (you wonât be disappointed) and look forward to visiting again soon.
