  We had the most incredible Christmas stay at Park Farmhouse, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a festive wonderland. The property is stunning, spacious, and brimming with character, perfectly blending rustic charm with modern comfort. The living areas are beautifully appointed, with cozy furniture and a roaring fire that made for the perfect setting for Christmas gatherings. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it a joy to prepare festive feasts for the whole family. The dining area, with its gorgeous views of the countryside, was the perfect backdrop for Christmas dinner. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and comfortable, ensuring everyone had a restful night's sleep. The outdoor space is equally fantastic—great for morning walks and exploring the surrounding countryside. We loved waking up to peaceful views and crisp Norfolk air. What truly set this property apart was the attention to detail—every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the house was spotless. It’s evident that the owners put great care into creating a welcoming and luxurious experience for their guests.   Great cottage, however the rear parking is very limited.

  As you have to go down a tight track which at the end was the gate. And a sharp left turn into the parking area. The entrance to the garden is shared with next door no 12, so a really big car won't fit as you have to leave space and you need someone at the back to help navigate out by reversing. The single bed is very soft and gives little back support. It's very spacious and well equipped. The dishwasher works great but the instructions are for another machine. There's no Pizza cutter, everything else though. Overall its lovely and very well maintained. I definateley would stay again. The top two steps on the stairs seem a bit loose so a bit of investigation by the owner may be needed and probably a quick fix. Bathroom is huge and modern. We felt very relaxed.

  Very good clean property.

  All required items are there and the property was prepared for us very well with high chair and cot which seemed as if they were brand new! Only issue we had was with parking, only 1 space and it is very tight to get in/out of but there is nearby parking usually available on street. Very close proximity to the beach and restaurants etc. We had booked to stay with our dog but decided not to take him in the end, thankful that we didn’t as he would’ve escaped the garden with the gate being shared access and had been left open by the neighbour plus it is a wooden one with lots of space (he is a small dog hence why it would’ve been a problem!) All in all a very pleasant stay and we would return purely due to its proximity to the local amenities.

  Three generations of Archibald’s spent a sunny July week at The Mill. It’s the perfect property for a family holiday with all the home comforts provided. Set in a great location to visit all the local attractions but also a haven of peace and tranquility to relax unwind and play. The local shops were a real asset and we used the local butcher for all our BBQ needs. And the games room and play field were a real bonus. Most evenings we would go down for an hour or so to unwind and have some fun together. The owners were on hand to deal with any issues and we felt very well looked after from beginning to end. We all agree that The Mill was 10 out of 10 and we will be back in the future and sure to recommend to our friends.

  We had the most wonderful week's break in Joy's Cottage.

  This is an exceptionally well maintained and accessible cottage and we cannot fault it. Ideally placed for lovely walks from the door as well as a base for all the lovely places north Norfolk has to offer. We packed in too much to completely list here, and although we had one very rainy day (spent mostly in Burnham Market undercover in the lovely shops and eating in Thornham deli) we also enjoyed some unseasonably sunny and warm weather for November, perfect for long walks along beaches. Thank you Joy for your beautiful cottage, full of everything you need along with some wonderful touches that we kept finding throughout our week. Janet and John Uwins
