You can access Fitz Park by the footbridge which is only a minutes’ walk away. This Lakeland cottage has a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom and is only 400 yards to Keswick town centre and amenities.

This cottage is in a great location especially if you have dogs overlooking Fitz Park & has its own parking space which is a bonus. The cottage itself is a game of 2 halves. The upstairs rooms are spacious, light & airy with comfortable beds but downstairs is becoming very tired & in need of decoration. The walls & skirting boards are really grubby & beware the larger sofa, it’s so hard it feels like you’re sitting on a wooden bench. We stayed in this cottage many years ago & the decor has not changed. If we hadn’t had our pooches with us it would’ve been more comfortable to spend our evenings upstairs as both rooms have tv.The kitchen is ok but needs a new blind on the window as the current one is dirty & stained, the dining room chairs definitely need some seat pads as again are uncomfortable to sit on.We had booked this cottage for Christmas but have now changed to different accommodation because of the lack of comfort at Riverbank.

Super cottage for a week away. Close to local shops and restaurants. Stunning views and beautiful walks from the cottage. Spotlessly clean well equipped and comfortable. We will definitely look at booking this cottage again in the future.

Cottage was lovely great location and great having private parking although down a dirt track road. Very quiet and peaceful. Fitz Park just across the bridge great for walking the dog. The only thing I would suggest is a couple of side tables so you can put your drinks on as the large coffee table is too far away from the seating area although we did move it but it would have been more convenient to have side tables. This didn't spoil a lovely few days break.
