Guests say

Robinson cottage in Keswick receives consistently positive feedback for its excellent location, spacious and comfortable interiors, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the off-street parking, proximity to the town centre and local walks, and the thoughtful touches such as games, books, and a well-stocked kitchen. Cleanliness and communication from the owner are frequently praised. While a few guests mention minor issues such as tight parking, dated decor, or heating controls, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a popular choice for families and groups visiting the Lake District.

Cleanliness is highly praised throughout the reviews, with multiple guests describing the property as spotless, very clean, and well maintained. Only one or two minor comments mention the decor being dated, but this does not detract from the overall impression of cleanliness.

The location is repeatedly described as excellent, central, and ideal for exploring Keswick and the Lake District. Guests value the short walk to the town centre, nearby walks, and the quiet yet convenient setting. The only minor negative is the narrowness of local streets for driving.

Guests consistently mention the spaciousness, comfortable beds, and homely feel of the cottage. The house is described as cosy, relaxing, and a true home from home. A couple of minor comments reference draughts or the need for updated sofas, but these are outweighed by positive remarks.

The property is praised for being extremely well equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, games, books, and even an air fryer. Parking is a valued bonus, though a few guests note the space is tight. Some mention the decor or kitchen could be updated, but overall facilities are excellent.

Guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as a folder with the house's history, games, books, and good communication from the owner. While some reviews mention these extras, please note that specific gifts or amenities are not guaranteed for every stay.

Perfect location and very clean, has everything you would need and the board games were great to use. I would say that it needs an upgrade as its quite outdated. The sockets are in odd places and was hard to find one at times. USB sockets is a must in this day and age. Sofa was abit uncomfortable maybe a footstool so you can put your feet up after a long day of walking. Windows difficult to use.

Very spacious. Lots of home comforts. Good wifi. Xbox. Fire TV. Super comfortable sofas and the beds were dreamy. Air fryer was really useful. Well equipped kitchen. Everything worked well. Nice mountain views. Close to town and restaurants. Close to walks. We only used our car once. Good selection of board games. Puzzles. Books. Couldn't fault it. We did have the central heating on a couple of mornings and the house warmed up quickly.. Very happy. Highly recommend

Well equipped house, spacious and close to heart of Keswick. Arrived during heatwave but house was cool due to high ceilings with the hall in particular cool due to it being dark. This seemed to keep whole house cool. Nice yard at rear to sit out in and parking a bonus. Our second visit, hopefully not our last, I’d recommend this house for a stay in Keswick.
