The property's location is highly praised for its countryside charm and proximity to local attractions, making it an excellent base for exploration.

The property is described as cosy with comfortable beds, though there are some concerns about low beams and high shower steps for taller guests.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed — all the essentials were provided, the beds were really comfortable, and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The cottage was warm and cosy with the heating on, and the beautiful grounds with a private lake made it feel extra special. The location was great too, perfect for exploring the area. The only small downside was that the washing machine wasn’t a washer-dryer as listed, but that didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

A lovely cottage with plenty of room. If I had any negative thing to say it would be about the low beams upstairs. There really ought to be information about low beams made available on the website. We are a very tall family (all adult visitors) - so while I and my husband were ok at 6’ - our sons who are 6’6” and 6’7” were at risk of knocking themselves out upstairs. Indeed one shower was unusable due to the low ceiling.

Lovely building with well furnished spacious rooms, though you could hear next door through the walls occasionally. Instructions for appliances would have helped. Generous welcome hamper, plus tea and coffee etc.Floors were tiled and seemed to have a protective coating which made them slippery, especially in the bath/shower rooms. We used a bathmat both in the shower and on the floor for safety, especially as the step in and out of the showers was high. All in all it was a lovely place to stay.
