Two stunning arched windows flood the space with natural light and open onto a private south-facing terrace, where you can soak up the tranquil woodland and lake views. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, featuring modern appliances and a granite breakfast bar that separates it from the elegant dining area, boasting an oak refectory table perfect for family gatherings. A utility room and cloakroom with toilet provides additional convenience. Upstairs, four beautifully appointed bedrooms offer the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The pretty super king bedroom (which can be converted into twin beds) comes with an en-suite shower room, while a further double bedroom features its own TV and en-suite shower room. Absolutely wonderful stay- accommodation and facilities perfect for our family get together. Children loved the games room- couldn’t wait to get back to it each evening. Would most certainly book a return visit. One point to note, local shopping facilities are limited so it is advisable to book online grocery shop.

We had a lovely weekend at Carriage House, the house has so much space and is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The setting is lovely and only a 15 minute drive to Embleton Bay, one of the prettiest beaches I’ve seen in the UK.
