Carefully appointed throughout to provide cosy accommodation, this Wigton cottage is ideal for families who wish to enjoy time together in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. At this Wigton cottage, there are two ground floor bedrooms and a sitting room with a feature stone wall on the first floor. The accommodation also includes a family shower room and a fitted kitchen with a dining area. Outside this Wigton cottage is a front patio area with ample space for children to play in safety.
Set just to the north of the Lake District National Park, this cottage near Wigton offers easy access to the Lake District fells and the bustling town of Keswick. Located in beautiful countryside, there are wonderful walks and bike rides through the fells and forests, and Whinlatter Forest Park has an exciting Go Ape adventure course, whilst for a more peaceful day you can head over to Derwentwater through Borrowdale, perfect for a peaceful picnic along the lake shore. With a charter granted in 1262, the traditional Cumbrian market town of Wigton still holds a market each Tuesday in the covered market hall.
