Really enjoyed our stay at The Homestead. Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Plenty of walks from the door and lovely villages to explore nearby.

A beautiful, warm and cosy cottage. The Homestead has been thoughtfully modernised but remains full of character and charm. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Some fantastic walks from the cottage and plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We would definitely stay again!

This cottage is lovely, tastefully modernised inside while keeping the charm of original beams and flooring. The living room is very comfortable with reclining sofas, all the bedrooms are good sized with very comfortable beds and the kitchen is very well-equipped. Plus very good wifi so streaming movies on a wet day does not suffer from buffering issues. The village itself is tiny, accessed through very narrow country roads, some very twisty. There are no pubs or restaurants within two miles, and nearest supermarket is 15 minute drive. But, with a bit of forward planning and careful driving that's not too much of a problem.Plenty of walks nearby, plus many more if willing to drive a bit further afield. All in all, fantastic, we would go again.
