Sail Away is a spacious, modern semi-detached property located in an elevated position in Brixham, South Devon. The property has four bedrooms sleeping up to seven guests and two family bathrooms, one of which is located on the ground floor which is a walk in shower. The bedrooms consist of a King (5'), Super King (6' which is a Zip and Link), Double (4'6") and a Single (3') bed, two of the bedrooms benefit from beautiful sea views and views of Furzeham Green. The property has a large kitchen/diner and along the wall way is the lounge when sea views and leads out to the patio with outside seating provided. 

Brixham is a historic town and is still a working fishermans town too, there is so much to enjoy whilst you are on holiday here. Pop down to the fish market for some fresh local fish, walk along the Breakwater and have a coffee is the Breakwater Bistro, shop locally in the town for everything you might need for your holiday.

Beds: 1x Super King (6' - Zip and Link - If you would like them unzipped and made into a twin room for your holiday please inform us when booking), 1x King (5'), 1x Double (4'6") and 1x Single.

Rooms: Ground Floor - Hallway, Utility Cupboard, Kitchen/Diner, Lounge and Shower Room. First Floor - Master Bedroom, Bedroom 2, Bedroom 3, Bedroom 4 and Family Bathroom. 

Kitchen: Modern, well equipped gloss kitchen including electric oven with grill, electric hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge plus fridge/freezer, microwave. Dining table with seating for seven.

Entertainment: 55" oled wall mounted Smart TV, DVD Player in the lounge, wall mounted Smart TV with integrated DVD player in Bedroom 2, wall mounted Smart TV/DVD/hdmi leads in Bedroom 4.

For Families: Travel Cot, Highchair and Stair Gate provided. (Please bring your own linen for the travel cot)

Outside: This property has two outdoor areas. A large sea view terrace with views of the sea and over to Torbay; there is a large table with seating provided for seven people. A small sunny patio by the entrance door is equipped with a bistro set.

Parking: Garage parking available (3.0m wide x 5.5m long) in the garage block behind the house (1.8m clear height).

General: WiFi Provided. Electric Heating. Linen and Towels provided (Please bring your own beach towels). No Smoking. 

Pets: 1 Pet welcome. Note - you will need to pay an additional pet fee and you must not leave dogs unattended in the property. 

Accidental Damage Deposit: You may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver for this property. Where applicable we will contact you in good time before your holiday with further details and to take payment.

Notes - Barbeques and candles are not permitted on the property. No Smoking. Maximum of 1 pet accepted. Short breaks accepted in low and mid-season. WiFi Provided. Good mobile phone coverage.

    We couldn’t fault this property or the location. The owners had considered everything, and the kitchen cupboards were stocked with every plate, cup, glass, and utensil you could possibly need, and as a group of 6 we really appreciated the dishwasher. It was spotlessly clean, and the house was tastefully decorated with an appropriate nautical theme, with wonderful attention to detail, and felt newly done. It seemed very spacious for the six of us that stayed there. Having a garage to park our car in was a bonus, as was the terrace area where we sat and watched the sunsets over the harbour, and the dog walkers in the park next door. The views from the two back bedrooms are stunning. It was a short walk downhill to Brixham harbour and the town, and although it was a relatively steep walk back, there is a bus stop right outside the property. The bus routes from the town are very good and make it easy to get to Torquay, Paignton, Newton Abbot and Exeter for days out. We stayed there as a family of three generations (aged 16 to 77) and all of us agreed it was perfect and the owners had clearly made their guests’ comfort and convenience a priority. We highly recommend Sail Away (and Brixham) as a holiday destination.

    Access to harbour or local coves no good for people with mobility problems. Too hilly and too many steps. Otherwise very well equipped.
