'A little slice of heaven'. The setting for the Coach House is beautiful, a quiet hamlet, with a great pub within walking distance (it isn't open every day though, so be sure to check before you arrive), but if you want a shop you'll have to drive out. In the grounds of the hosts home, the garden in late spring was a sight to behold and house martins were dipping and diving all around.Nora and Simon were so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The cottage itself is one of the best equipped I've ever stayed in (including both a teapot and a cafetiere!) and everything was in good working condition. I usually travel with a mattress topper but the beds were so comfortable I didn't need to use it (another 1st). If you like walking you can do so straight from the cottage. All the information supplied by the hosts was detailed and accurate and finding the cottage was easy. I would definitely stay again.

Is in quite a rural position which pleased us. Lovely and quiet.

Very nice place though a little remote - but that suited us. There are plenty of places to visit, though some travelling was involved. We ate out each evening, though this again involved travelling. The nearest pub was only serving food on three evenings a week, and this was a similar story in other places. In general, we avoided Shrewsbury because I had some difficulty finding my way about, and parking was difficult. I tried Park and ride, but the council had moved the entrance and not changed the signs! However, when I did find it - the park and ride service was good and cheap.
