Guests say

The West Barn is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its peaceful rural setting, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions. Guests appreciate the well-equipped accommodation, comfortable beds, and the warm welcome from friendly hosts. The property's charm and the surrounding countryside offer a delightful stay, especially with the added bonus of a balcony overlooking scenic landscapes.

Most guests found The West Barn to be lovely and clean, with beautiful bedrooms and fabulous showers. However, a couple of reviews mentioned issues with cleanliness in the kitchen and a smell in the sink and bathroom, slightly lowering the score.

The location is highly praised for its stunning quiet setting, views of the Malvern Hills, and proximity to Upton on Severn and walking routes. The rural charm and easy access to local amenities contribute to a high score.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the barn, with very comfortable beds and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The presence of ensuite bathrooms adds to the comfort level, although the mention of a low beam in the living room suggests a slight deduction in the score.

The property is described as well-equipped and tastefully decorated, with a well-appointed kitchen and good outdoor space. However, there are some negative comments about the lack of wardrobes in two bedrooms, no towel radiators, and some kitchen items not being clean, which affects the score.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful touches such as biscuits, fizz, and milk, as well as a homemade champagne gift, these are individual experiences and may not be consistent for all stays. Therefore, it's important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Fantastic stay at the gorgeous West Barn, stunning quiet location, looking out onto fields. The cottage had everything we needed. Really cute local village, Upton on Severn with good eateries and independant shops. Great location for walking in the Malvern Hills.
