The cottage's proximity to the beach and its peaceful setting in Oxwich are consistently highlighted as major positives, making it an ideal location for beachgoers and families.
Guests find the cottage spacious and comfortable, with a homely feel and a good combination of rooms for extended family groups. However, some guests mention that the cottage feels a bit shabby, which suggests room for improvement.
The reviews indicate that the cottage is well-equipped with good bedrooms and equipment, but also point out issues with the dishwasher, showers, and kitchen equipment. The need for maintenance and updates is noted.
While the reviews mention that the owners left a bed for an extra child, there is no mention of gifts or additional thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. It should be noted that such gestures, if they occur, are not guaranteed.

Fantastic holiday close to brilliant beeches.

Bull Croft Cottage is in an amazing location, very close to Oxwich Bay. It sleeps 12 comfortably and the owners left a bed for an extra child. The secluded garden and seating was excellent for a picnic lunch. The local shop was very useful for milk and Welsh cakes as well as selling a fantastic selection of ice creams.
Mrs Penny Roberts
The cottage is a bit shabby - this was not a problem for us with lots of children but some people might not find it so appealing. The Aga may also be a problem for others - we have one so are used to them! But, please supply an oven glove, getting heavy pans out of an Aga with small children around with a thin T towel is not fun!!!
