Tucked away amongst 14 hectares of upland fields with wonderful views towards Cwm Pennant and Cwmystradllyn lies this charming pet-friendly farmhouse, comfortably sleeping up to 6 adults and 2 children across 4 generous bedrooms. The annexed Georgian farmhouse has been sympathetically restored throughout and is complete with a well appointed country-style kitchen, light-filled south facing conservatory/dining area and cosy living room with with exposed beams and roaring log burner. The large enclosed garden boasts a wooden swing set, rope ladder, climbing rope and garden games as well as a picnic table and additional outdoor chairs. Located on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park, Ynys Golan is within driving distance of Cardigan Bay's beaches, the fantastic attractions along The Llyn Peninsula and the breath-taking sights of Anglesey. For some memorable family days out visit Criccieth Castle and Black Rock Sands or stroll along the Wales Coastal Path to nearby Porthmadog. Slightly further afield, the adrenaline-packed experiences at the Zip World sites dotted throughout Snowdonia National Park are certainly worth a trip!

Rooms: Ground floor: Lounge with exposed beams and log burner, country-style kitchen, conservatory/dining area, utility room, cloakroom with WC and bathroom with walk in shower and bath. First Floor: Two double bedrooms (one with wooden cot), twin bedroom and bunk bedroom (Bunk beds suitable for children only).
Kitchen and utilities: Country-style kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, radio and small circular breakfast table in front of the warming electric fire. Utility room with washing machine, dishwasher, Belfast sink and cleaning facilities.
Entertainment: TV with DVD player and Google TV in lounge. Wi-Fi available.
For families: Travel cot, high chair and stairgate available on request. Please bring your own cot linen.
Outside: Fully enclosed lawned garden - secure for both children and dogs. Wooden swing set with 2 swings, a rope ladder and climbing rope. Picnic table and benches and a trunk with further outdoor chairs and games e.g. badminton, cricket, boules, frisbee, football, juggling balls.
General: Central heating and electricity included. Initial supply of logs and kindling provided for wood burner. Bed linen, towels and 1 hairdryer provided (cot linen not provided). Welcome pack on arrival includes tea, coffee, milk, sugar and buttered Welsh cakes.
Pets: 2 dogs welcome. Additional charges apply. Dog blankets provided. Please bring your own dog bed. Dogs not allowed upstairs, on sofa or beds.
No smoking at this property please.
Parking: Private off-road parking for up to 4 cars.

The property was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. The owners are very friendly people who give a very warm welcome. They are not intrusive but are there if needed. Lots of extras not usually given in self catering cottages. The setting is very rural and peaceful whilst still only being 10 minutes from Porthmadog. There are numerous places to visit and things to do. We packed lots in including Portmeirion, Criccieth, Caernarfon, Penrhyn, Harlech, Bodnant Gardens, Black Rock Sands, Llanberis and the Blaenau Festiniog Railway. We enjoyed them all and all were value for money. A fantastic holiday. Couldn’t have asked for more. A beautiful part of the country.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful farmhouse and had perfect weather. The surroundings are stunning and the location is ideal with Criccieth, Porthmadog, Harlech and Abersoch close by. The attention to deal was very noticeable including Faith and Nature products and Bio D which we love. Having a washing machine was a massive help especially with having a messy toddler! The farmhouse is beautifully decorated and very homely. The kitchen had absolutely everything and was easy to cook like being at home. I would highly recommend to anyone. If you want a peaceful holiday in a beautiful location this is your place! The owners were very welcoming and very helpful. Thank you so much ??
