  Nairn is an absolutely fantastic holiday house.

  We were a party of 11, aged between 70 and 3 and it catered for us all with room to spare! All the bedrooms were spacious with ample wardrobe space and great en-suites in the doubles. The main bathroom had a huge bath which the younger children enjoyed. Downstairs the accommodation was vast, the games room was very popular with the adults, the kitchen/dining room/ living room was very well equipped and the main lounge was huge! With the separate smaller sitting room providing some welcome quiet space on occasion. Outside the garden is great for children and the odd adult game of boules but the hit of the holiday, according to the children, was the hot tub. The location is great with a 10-15 minute walk to town, Staunton Sands and various other places to visit within a short drive. With plenty of off road parking this really is a perfect holiday house. The owner, Iona, was very helpful with information before we arrived and we very much appreciated the welcome pack and delicious cake.

  Beautiful and very spacious cottage. The photos don’t do the size of the cottage justice. Very well equipped kitchen, there wasn’t anything they didn’t have and a lovely size. All bedrooms were fabulous especially the super large one and beds were comfortable. Log fire was lovely to relax in front of. Great selection of games and books and the added bonus of the pool table went down great with everyone. The only thing to be mindful of is the entrance to the driveway which is narrow, I think you’d struggle to get a Range Rover in there. Beaches nearby, supermarket not too far but do need a car to get about. Host was really responsive to any messages and helpful with information about the area. We were a party of 4 adults, 5 older teenagers and there was plenty of space. Highly recommend. I also think you could add a hot tub with the space you have but I know the running costs are expensive.

  Nairn is a beautiful spacious house but with a lovely welcoming, homely feel.

  We were extremely impressed with the way the owner had thought of everything and made the house very comfortable with all the equipment that you might want, this was over and above items you might need. The house itself, was spotless. There was a wonderful welcome pack with lots of lovely above average quality items in it. Attention to detail was apparent everywhere. There was the opportunity to do lots on a rainy day or sit in the quiet room and read a book. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the beaches, the nearest one (Saunton Sands) was our favourite and just 10 minutes away. The owner was in contact by e-mail and both very helpful and friendly with making suggestions and recommendations when asked, always responding promptly. It was a great place for a family get together and we are hoping to return with family members who couldn't make it this time.

  This house is amazing. The kitchen is a fabulous family space where there is enough room for everyone to cook, eat, chill and chat. The lounge is very comfortable, again with plenty of space for all. The. bedrooms are all nice, the master bedroom/bathroom is fantastic with lovely views. The playroom is great for children and is well equipped with very nice toys. There is plenty of room to play in the garden with a relaxing seating area and an eating area, which was lovely in the evening with the gazebo up. The garden play equipment is nice but there is a problem with bird poo. It is a short walk into Braunton with some nice cafes ( note- they often close at 2pm) and a short drive to the wonderful beach at Saunton Sands. I would thoroughly recommend this house, especially for an extended family.

  A much looked forward to family holiday staying at Nairn and it didn’t disappoint.

  Eleven family members including 3 children and we were all catered for. We have stayed in many holiday houses and found that we didn’t have enough pans or kitchen equipment, but not here. We were delighted that the cupboards were full of everything we could possibly need. All the rooms and bedrooms were tastefully presented and comfortable, and there were even children’s toys for our 4 year old grandson to play with. If I had one criticism it would be that there wasn’t a tumble dryer. The utility room was equipped with washing machine, iron etc, but no dryer. I would like to say thank you for the lovely welcome pack on arrival, it was very much appreciated, we would definitely recommend Nairn to anyone wanting a fabulous house to stay in for their holiday.
