  I am not sure where to put this comment: We had a lovely time thank you but there were a few issues. The house itself is lovely, situated with great views over the harbour and excellent facilities. However the following (In order of importance) detracted from us fully enjoying ourselves. 1. The third bedroom, at the back of the house, had black mould on the wall at and smelt very musty. We could not use it as a bedroom for an 11 week child, let alone an adult. 2. There was no outside light to the property. We arrived in the dark and found it difficult to negotiate the uneven steps up to, and down from, the property when unloading the cars. 3. The was washer drier did not dry meaning we had to dry clothes on radiators. 4. There really should be somewhere on the property to put recycling. I have never stayed in a property where I have been responsible for taking our recycling to a recycling centre, which I couldn't find. As I said apart from the above, the holiday was great but immediate attention should be given to Points 1 to 3 above for the benefit of future guests.   Absolutely wonderful place to stay on the beautiful Cornish coast. In the lovely harbour town of Porthleven, but a 10 minute lovely stroll away from the hustle and bustle, this cottage offers tranquillity and beautiful views. The accommodation is of a very high standard, decorated with great eye for detail. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Beautiful walking to be done along the South-West coast path whether you turn left or right. We parked our car on arrival, and didn’t get back in till the end of our week; bliss! Great little supermarket by the harbour, and the Harbour Inn was our favourite watering hole, also offering really good food, served with a smile. We will be back! Thank you.

  A great cottage to stay in - and we have stayed in many over the years in Porthleven. We have watched them being built over the past few years and were excited to stay in one of the three! It did not disappoint. Great views, lovely places to walk from and a really comfortable, contemporary and relaxed shared upstairs space. We will definitely be back again - but maybe not during the Summer months. Can imagine the lounge will be really hot and with no blinds - would be incredibly bright with the sun coming in through the huge windows and velux ceiling lights. However, in February - this was perfect. Thank you for a great experience and stay!

  The property was great for our needs to provide a comfortable social space for a big family gathering.

  We also rented Edwin’s View. The open plan upstairs layout was perfect for eating together as a big group and having lots of spaces for cosy chats. We challenged the kitchen space with large dinners and it met up to our requirements. It was very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy and the bathrooms met our needs. Outdoors the animal feeding/watching and the badminton/football space were very popular for all age groups and it was great for a base for cycling and running. Lots of parking space too. We’re coming back! ASAP! Thank you.

  We had a lovely stay at the mill in Nancegollan.

  It was a lovely barn conversion with nice furnishings , very cosy and comfortable. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful . A much added bonus were the goats, pigs and alpacas , I myself loved to pop over each morning with my red bucket filled with goodies for them . We enjoyed being able to walk through the fields adjoining the farm with our dogs. As a general note for Sykes as a company , this was a complex of properties, and should be advertised when booking . Will hopefully be returning soon .
