  The house was ample size for our party of seven, however there were quite a few things needing some tlc.

  Broken chairs and lamps, shower doors loose, pans that have seen better days etc. We also felt that it wasn’t as clean as it could be under the surface. There is a lot of clutter and personal items scattered around especially in the kitchen. It needs a really good sort out to make the space more neutral for guests rather than feeling like you are borrowing someone’s living space. I wouldn’t expect to find a cupboard full of food, for example or a very unorganised kitchen drawer full of odds and ends. Saying that we made good use of the appliances, the huge dining table and the laundry room. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and the location is ideal for the beach and shops (only 5 mins away). We didn’t use the garden as we felt it was too untidy to really enjoy it. The place just needs a bit of stripping back and updating and it will be ideal for large groups to enjoy lovely Cromer. Having private parking is a bonus! We took advantage of the short drive to sheringham and North Norfolk railway and would recommend a trip to Bewilderwood for children! Amazing place! Also recommend Bucket List for loaded fries only a few mins from the property and also enjoyed a few drinks in Gangway. Another small gripe was that the owner came to start cleaning the house before our check out time and when she realised we were still inside, sat waiting outside the door making us feel rushed. Otherwise, with some small improvements this property is ideal for multi generational families to use as a base for a typical British seaside holiday!

  It would be beneficial for the home owner to provide a folder of how equipment works.

  Every home should have a visitor book, where comments can be made. The house is one of the best that we have stayed in. We are seasoned users of Sykes cottages, so it is safe to say, we would recommend Coral House to your customers. We would suggest that the TV in the front room receives a signal for direct use however. We are aware that bookings are slow coming in for this property, and we would advise the owner to open it out to be used by families, as it would attract more interest, and would be likely to be full for most of the year. A bond could protect the owner in this instance. The price will dictate the clientele for this quality property, as it does demand the pricing. The property is ideally placed to visit the whole area. There are two top quality venues to eat out within walking distance, serving a great selection of meals. Shopping is convenient as Cromer is only a mile or so away. The beds were very comfortable and it is very dark and quiet at night, as the property stands away from the main road. There is a beach which is also within walking distance, which would be ideal for attracting families, although it does not have lifeguard cover. All that is left to say is thank you and well done to Jacqueline, we hope that you do well advertising through Sykes.

  A beautiful property quietly situated in Ringstead. We had a lovely Christmas with our sister and her family at The Coach House. There was plenty of space to socialise, relax, cook and simply be together. The kitchen was well equipped and the underfloor heating ensured we were lovely and warm despite it being a chilly late December. Ringstead is well located for the beautiful Norfolk coast and villages - Old Hunstanton, Brancaster, Thornham, Wells and more. We were spoilt for choice when planning our daily walks along the coast. There are many excellent pub/restaurants within easy reach and the excellent Gin Trap is only a couple of minutes’ walk away. We were able to pre-order top quality fish and seafood from Gurneys just down the road at Drove Orchard - a delicious starter for Christmas dinner! We should also mention and recommend the wonderful Ringstead General Store which is an Aladdins cave! We were able to order bread, milk, croissants and more ahead of our stay.

  Woodside is a beautiful property, so spacious, very comfortable and so well equipped with everything that you need or didn't realise you would need !! We had 10 adults, a baby and a dog, yet the property never felt full or overcrowded. Furniture and fittings are all modern and in full working order and we had no problems with any aspects of the property whilst we were there. Again the gardens and decking are very spacious with ample furniture and facilities such as BBQ, etc. The location was superb, so peaceful and rural. Can not fault Norfolk Country Cottages, the booking was easy and the information provided was thorough. When we did have a few questions, our local Property Manager Caroline responded immediately and was very helpful. The Woodside property helped ensure that a family celebration was a fabulous occasion.

  We had a lovely stay. The cottage is homely and comfortable. It was very clean and well equipped, had everything we needed. There was even a lovely welcome pack to get us started, nice touch. The garden was lovely and safe for our dog, there is even a little stream at the end, that was so lovely. Location is perfect, we walked to the beach, shops and restaurants, all very close. The only negative is the parking space, it's great that it has one, but it was a bit difficult to get to, very narrow road, we had to mount the pavement because there were cars parked. But once you're in, it's not too bad so we just got used to it. Overall it's a lovely cottage in a lovely location
