Spend the day exploring Bourton-on-the-Water, where you can browse the High Street, lines with quaint shops and cafes, as well as Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection.

Moreton-in-Marsh is a Saxon market town on the Fosse Way Roman Road in the northern Cotswolds. It has several fine 18th-century buildings that house traditional inns, tea rooms, restaurants, and shops for various tastes. It has its own train station on the London Paddington line. The town holds the Moreton-In-Marsh Show, one of the UK's largest one-day agricultural fairs, the Moreton Beer Festival, and a large outdoor market every Tuesday. The Macmillan Way, Heart of England Way, Gloucestershire Way, and Monarch's Way are all nearby for walks and bike trips through the Cotswolds. Stow-on-the-Wold, the Cotswolds' highest town, is 5 miles away. This 12th-century market town has a biannual Gypsy Horse Fair, craft fairs, and a weekly farmers' market. Bourton-on-the-Water, where the River Windrush runs through the centre, is nearby.
