Vale View is highly praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and en suite bedrooms, making it ideal for large groups and family gatherings. The panoramic views and quiet location add to its charm, with guests appreciating the property's cleanliness and comfort. The proximity to local attractions and the enclosed garden are also noted positives.
Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as very clean and well-presented, which indicates a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is frequently highlighted for its quietness, beautiful views, and convenience for exploring Northumberland's attractions. The property's proximity to towns, countryside, and beaches is appreciated, although a car is necessary for travel.
The comfort of Vale View is often noted, with guests finding the property warm, cosy, and spacious. The presence of en suite bathrooms for each bedroom and comfortable common areas contribute to the overall comfort.
Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-stocked kitchen and quality appliances. However, some guests experienced issues with heating and water temperature, and patchy wifi coverage, which slightly impacts the score.
While guests mention welcome gifts such as wine and biscuits, there are not enough references to consistently assess the level of thoughtfulness across all reviews. Therefore, while these gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for future guests.
Dominating the entire first floor of the village pub, Vale View can be found in the small Northumbrian village of Glanton. With its own seperate entrance and decent soundproofing, this property sleeps up to 11 people.

Mr Robinson
We had a fabulous stay. Recommended to family and friends. The kitchen was very well equipped and the finishing touches like dish washer tablets and washing up liquid was much appreciated. As was the wine. Thank you very much
Mr Roddham
Apart from some noise being heard in some of bedrooms at night the cottage was a good size and very well equipped for our family of 10. We enjoyed our weekend
Mrs Watson
We had a wonderful holiday. Lisa was a lovely host and it was a good location with beautiful views and lends itself to a family holiday. The accommodation was spacious, homely and well equipped.
