We stayed over Christmas holidays as a family of four and had a great time. The barn was stunning and Sandra was extremely helpful. Loved every minute, will be coming back.

We had a wonderful time at the Threshing Barn and would highly recommend it to holidaymakers seeking a tranquil break in a beautiful, rustic cottage.Sandra was a helpful and friendly host, the cottage was cosy, comfortable and had every amenity needed for our 4-night stay. The spa is a fantastic extra, the pool and gym were spotlessly clean. The farm complex is located in an idyllic corner of Glaisdale and boasts a charming selection of fruit trees (and Herdwick sheep!). It provided us with the perfect base for exploring the coast and moorland. Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby are only a short drive away. We'd definitely come back for another peaceful break (and Sunday lunch at The Witching Post pub).

We (husband, son (9) and me) loved this cottage. It is quirky (amazing artifacts and nooks and crannies to look at), beautiful, and we all felt at home. Sandra, host, is friendly and helpful (in the run up to and during our holiday) and looks after you. We loved the pool and acces to the gym - it's well worth the bit extra. Excellent location for local walks and adventures, as well as trips to the coast - Whitby, Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Sandsend (our favourite - just be prepared to hunt for parking if a sunny day!) are recommended visits. We would definitely come back. Thank you, Sandra.
