Kinnelhook Holiday Cottage standing detached, is an attractive property set in beautiful grounds overlooking the 2-acre garden and with access to Kinnel Water. Set within the owners’ grounds, it is the ideal place to meet up with family or friends to enjoy a relaxing break in peaceful surroundings.
The accommodation is welcoming, and the crowning glory has to be the huge, private games room where you can challenge your family to a game of snooker (10 foot by 5 foot table), pool, table tennis, darts or table football without even having to venture outside! The adults can also watch the kids from the large picture windows overlooking the gardens. If fishing is your sport, enjoy a relaxing day fishing on the owner’s very own stretch of Kinnel Water.
The property is nestled on the outskirts of Lochmaben and surrounded by natural beauty, due to its rural position a car is advised. It is the ideal location to explore the local area, and all that beautiful Dumfries and Galloway has to offer from sailing and mountain biking (7 Stanes) to exploring the many forest walks, trails, and coastline. Situated on the Annandale Hiking Trail this property is great for any avid hikers. Return to Kinnelhook Holiday Cottage after a day exploring, take advantage of the peaceful evergreen gardens and enjoy the truly dark night skies, the rural area of this property creates the perfect spot for star gazing, lucky guests have even spotted the aurora borealis!

Absolute Joy. This place is simply outstanding when it comes to a rural retreat cottage when you want a simple getaway in the most beautiful and historical surroundings, in my opinion … it can’t be matched. The owners have clearly spent much time to make this, Holiday Home as comfortable and have spent much time to accommodate, it is immaculate and nothing has been overlooked. The games room is like walking into a different post code. It, again is immaculate. The snooker table has been looked after and well kept, as it should be. Simply the best cottage of this type I have ever been to. As far as cost goes, work it out for yourself after a week in this beautiful holiday home. I highly recommend it.
