Great location, cottage had all we needed, peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay. Helped by fine weather. Double bed had thinner mattress than we're used to. Lots of places to explore and lots of walks nearby for outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts.

We had a wonderful stay at Mallaig during the Easter holidays. The house is extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. The garden is beautiful and even though it was a bit chilly for sitting out we loved the seaviews and greenery. Our dog loved running around it each day too! The house is perfectly placed for exploring the coast - we enjoyed walking down to the bay at Rockcliffe and also did the circular coast walk to Kippford, as well as venturing to the lovely Sandy hills beach. The owner of the house checked that we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome at the property. Would definitely stay there again
