Explore the pubs, shops, cafés and restaurants that cluster around the historic picturesque inner harbour, where there is plenty of boating and marine activity. With a warren of streets lined with classic Cornish, granite cottages, an extensive beach manned with lifeguards, the chance for alfresco dining in one of a number of well reviewed restaurants, and crabbing off the harbour, there are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy, all year round.

Lovely cottage. Thank you for the welcome goodies! Shame it was up a steep slope, may not bother some guests but we had a disabled daughter who found it difficult. Sea views were gorgeous apart from neighbours opposite owning a neon orange van parked directly opposite front windows. Cottage was comfortable, clean and warm and relaxing. We spent our 1st week in Helford and our 2nd week in bustling Porthleven. Cornwall is so beautiful.
