Escape to the Llyn Peninsula and enjoy a captivating break in this quirky stone cottage in the quiet village of Llanengan. Set between the seaside resort of Abersoch and the sweeping beach at Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth), this dog-friendly abode is ideal for a family holiday or a getaway with friends. Spend your days walking coastal trails, lazing on golden beaches and exploring the peninsula’s rich culture and heritage. Then return here for sunny afternoons in the garden or chilled evenings snuggled around the wood burner.
Step inside this two-storey cottage to find a warm and cosy interior that exudes rustic charm and a homely ambiance, with a subtle seaside theme running through the decor. Set beneath a beamed ceiling, the lounge sets the scene for evenings of storytelling and laughter with an assortment of seating, exposed stone walls and a warming wood burner. The kitchen and diner combine to form a welcoming and sociable space with a well-appointed and spacious kitchen and dining table tucked in a cosy nook with exposed stone walls. Head upstairs to find three inviting bedrooms; take your pick from a spacious master double, a cosy double, and a generous family room with a double and a single bed. A first-floor bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower and an outdoor utility room offer comfort and convenience. The summer house provides additional storage for outdoor gear, while a raised gravelled garden and a patio with outdoor furniture ensure you can make the most of warm weather.
Grab your surfboard and head to Porth Neigwl (less than 1 mile) to catch some waves or set off for some traditional seaside fun in the charming village of Abersoch (1.5 miles). Abersoch is a hub for water sports, with fine beaches and a sheltered harbour, while the entire peninsula is a delight for walkers and wildlife watchers, with the Wales Coast Path tracing its rugged coastline.

Lovely cottage; great pub round the corner,; beautiful part of the world. Only niggle was that the tv did have any BBC channels.

Clean and spacious property, well set up for a family with older children who will appreciate a double bed each in separate rooms. Well-placed for exploring this part of the peninsula, with its lovely beaches, but still very peaceful. Plenty of equipment for self-catering, while the Sun Inn is very close by for eating out in the evening. Lovely patio.
Mrs Kelsall
Fantastic property! Beautifully renovated, comfortably furnished and well-equipped. Great layout for 2 adults and 2 older teenagers, who had a very comfortable room and double bed each. We love staying here and no doubt will be back.
