What our customers say about their holidays

Absolutely lovely property.
The lounge is super cosy with the stove lit on dark nights and sofas were comfy too. The farmhouse had everything we needed. The secure garden was great for the dogs to play and the walk around the fishing lake was lovely. Narrow country lanes to get to property but soon got used to them and was an ideal base to go to all the amazing surrounding beaches. We went to escape the fireworks as both dogs are terrified and didnât hear any bangs the whole week, was so peaceful. The only noises came from the birds and the cows. Was greeted by the owners when we arrived then left us be but were only a phone call away if we needed anything. Good WiFi too If anything negative maybe a check of the kitchen as some of the plates are chipped and in need of a new frying pan. But would highly recommend and would definitely return it was a great property. As others have mentioned both dogs are sulking now we are home

Great location, the village of Rhiw is very quiet and the property has great views at the back.
Fantastic walk up to the peak, although steep in places itâs well worth it, less than 20min walk to the top at Mynydd Rhiw. Very disappointing to not have a dishwasher, albeit not mentioned in the details, the kitchen has plenty of space for one, great cooker and a 3/4 size fridge freezer. Very happy to have a washer (located in the shed) bit daunting going in the shed at night and accessing the back garden through the shed (very dark although there are security lights) but Iâm sure in the summer would be great. Bed was comfy, the dining table was extremely wobbly so only used once. Property gets warm quickly when the heating is on but can go very cold at night due to the location. One wardrobe in the double room, other double has no clothing storage apart from two very small bedside cabinets, single has a small cupboard. Good off-road parking for two cars. Overall a nice property, very friendly owner.

We were highly impressed with the cottage, notably the well executed mix of modern conveniences and a traditional feel, the perfect blend of luxury and character.
It came very well equipped with everything you could need for cooking, cleaning, etc. Our son loved the the toys and exploring the lush garden. The welcome goodies including chocolate and fizz were a nice touch. The location is close to the village so near to amenities, but is up on the hillside offering plenty of privacy. The driveway is narrow so care is required, but itâs well worth the effort though as youâll be rewarded with the most gorgeous views and a little slice of heaven. The icing on the cake was watching the sunset over the Irish Sea while enjoying a beverage in the hot tub. We book cottages fairly often and we can easily say this is one of the, if not the best one weâve stayed in to date! Weâve taken with us the best memories and would mostly definitely considering returning.

Such a lovely spacious property.
All mod cons provided and scrupulously clean and well furnished. The views were wonderful and the location was great for exploring the area. Abersoch was only a short car ride away which is a great place to eat out and you can even catch a bus there at the end of the road, taking only 20 minutes. The beds were very comfortable and had beautiful linen. It felt like the owner had gone to a lot of trouble to make guests very comfortable. We would certainly love to stay here again. The property was described as having an enclosed garden but the gates didnât seem to be able to close and there were sheep at the back. This wasnât a problem for us as our dog is older and not so boisterous. Just thought this might be an issue for a young dog or young children. Face Family, West Midlands

Very clean, warm and comfortable.
Good communication with owner, who kindly came to check everything was okay. Great views from the conservatory which we enjoyed sitting inâ¦.it was foggy 50% of the time we were there! But you canât help the weather! Glad of the washing machine and easy to get clothes dry. Just didnât know why the check in was so late, 5pm is really late, we arrived at 3.30pm and sat up on the hill above enjoying the view until we could get in, but felt an earlier arrival would have been better when you have driven a long way. We wondered if it hadnât been updated since COVID? Even 4pm would have been better. But that was the only gripe really, and maybe that doesnât bother other people. Everything else was great. Especially please how clean and warm the cottage was. Thank you.
