  This is a great property for visiting Wells-next-the-Sea - everything is literally within a 5-10 minute walk, in respect of the quay, shops, cafes and pubs and you, also, have parking at the side of the barn so no need to take the car out unless you are travelling further afield. The beach is about a 30 minute walk which is all on the level (although you can obviously drive there in less than 10 minutes) and definitely worth visiting, due to the expanse of sand and the picturesque beach huts. The barn, itself, is spacious, cosy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, good-sized television and excellent wi-fi, if needed. We enjoyed visiting the nature reserve at Holkham, along with the beaches at Cromer and Old Hunstanton. For a Sunday roast, we would definitely recommend The Globe at Wells!

  The best holiday in Norfolk we've had yet! Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful cottage. The weather has been fabulous! The Norfolk Coast Path walks are a must - we loved the walk from the door to Holkham Hall (lunch at The Victoria was superb, as usual), and The Hero at Burnham Overy Staithe. Our best meal at this holiday was at The George & Dragon in Cley-next-the-Sea. All the shops and pubs are dog friendly as always. The morning walk from the house to Stiffkey Store along the coastal path was beautiful. The cakes, pastries and sourdough as delicious as always. Jumping on the Coast Hopper bus to return makes all these walks easy. Lovely pottery from Made in Cley. Delighted to have booked for next October already! The dogs definitely didn't want to leave!   Fantastic cottage that''s well located for Wells We stayed here for a week in May. It was beautifully kept, everything was clean and tidy, and all appliances / furniture / equipment was of top quality brands and in excellent condition. We didn't want for anything as all possible things had been provided for us. We loved sitting out in the south facing garden in the sun, listening to the many birds cheeping away. It's very private and quiet. The location is great, it's only a 5 minute walk into Wells which was ideal for us. And of course with Wells itself being central to the North Norfolk Coast, it was a great base for exploring the breadth of it. Overall we had a wonderful stay, and would highly recommend this cottage. Thank you for helping us to have such a lovely break.

  We had a lovely stay at Orchard Cottage over New Year. We were a party of 8 with 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs and all loved it. It’s not ultra-modern but has such a lovely cosy and homely feel that we all felt settled and relaxed pretty much straight away. One big plus is that there are two living rooms and one quickly became the "kids den" for them to watch movies and play video games. It’s a lovely family home and in a great location. It’s just a few minutes walk into Wells and a few mins to a good pub (Bowling Green Inn) and a Co-op too. We loved it and would be very happy to return.

  We have had a lovely week in glorious Norfolk. We have particularly enjoyed magnificent beach walks with our dog and have found the people so very friendly. The cottage is well situated - really easy to nip out to top up provisions. Have enjoyed some really lovely meals out at Wells Crab House, The Globe, The Victoria at Holkham and The Golden Fleece in particular. Love Wells-next-the-Sea and surrounding area and will be back. Happy Holidays to all who follow!
