When you picture a quintessential seaside village on the Suffolk coast, Walberswick immediately springs to mind, with its gorgeous array of chocolate box cottages, charming independent shops, a café, delicious deli, village green and pubs. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with an unspoilt sandy beach and grassy dunes that lead onto 1000 acres of marshland, this really is an idyllic place to come and relax. Southwold is just 5 miles away by car or in the summer months walk to the harbour and catch the rowing boat ferry across the water. Head towards the iconic lighthouse where the town boasts some excellent local shops, cafes, and restaurants. In the opposite direction, is the idyllic village of Dunwich. Meander along the boardwalk that runs alongside the river, stopping at the tea rooms on the beach before circling back along the shores of the North Sea.
This gorgeous family friendly holiday home is the ideal escape for eight. Unwind in this chic and stylish scandi property that has been wonderfully modernised whilst maintaining many of the original features. At the heart of this coastal bolthole is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a full length floor to ceiling glass wall that looks across the garden allowing plenty of light to flood in. The kitchen is fully equipped and centred around a large island with eight wooden stools to enjoy cooking and dining together, as well as a further dining table with seating for all. A roaring wood burner situated in the original fireplace helps keep this open space warm in the chillier months and is a great spot to snuggle up on an armchair and indulge in a good book or cup of tea. To the front of the house, is an additional lounge with vintage furnishings, another wood burner and a Smart TV. Upstairs hosts all four bedrooms and continues the simple yet stylish scandi décor. There are three generous king-size bedrooms and a bunk bedroom ideal for children. An en-suite shower room serves the main bedroom, whilst a family bathroom and wet room on the ground floor is shared between the others. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer is a handy addition to the house too.
Outside offers an enclosed space to relax in the Suffolk sunshine throughout the day with an area of the garden laid to lawn, there is plenty of room for children and dogs to run around. Alfresco dining is easy here, with a BBQ and outside table and chairs. There is also a secured bike store for guests bringing bicycles on holiday.

Amazing kitchen and the perfect social space, great location in a beautiful village. Overall a great comfortable stay.
Mr Chilton
Property would have been ideal if not for the intrusive noise from the building work ongoing in the adjoining semi detached property. Very extensive work with total rework. I think you as the letting agent should have been aware of this. At this time I would not recommend this property
Mrs Holroyde
House well located for beach and the excellent Anchor pub. Liked the scandi vibe and the comfy beds. Garden safe for children and dogs. Kitchen equipment and outdoor furniture needs updating/augmenting. But we had a wonderful happy family holiday ☺️
