  We had a lovely stay at The Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable with beautiful views towards the creek from some of the rooms. Helford is a very picturesque and quiet village mainly situated around the creek - there is a village shop and pub. There are lovely walks from the doorstep in all directions. We spent a lot of our time on the water - paddle boarding and kayaking exploring the river and creeks (the outside shower was great for when we got back!). The Shipwrights pub is just over the road in a great location next to the water and we enjoyed a few drinks and meals there during the week (it gets busy and you can’t book at the moment so best to get there early although waiting outside in such a lovely setting isn’t too bad either!). The ferry over to Helford Passage is about a 5/6 minute walk away also. The courtyard garden is a good size and gets the sun in the morning and for much of the day (not in the evening). Some more comfortable seating would have been lovely but there was a table, chairs and bench which were fine. Thanks again for a lovely stay - we hope to be back one day.

  We found Lithuanica absolutely stunning. Sure, the exterior isn't particularly special - it's not a beautiful old cottage. It's a modern bungalow (albeit one with a beautiful and huge decking area and garden around it). But inside it's a different story - there are so many huge windows and the views pretty much made us laugh out loud with delight. Stunning views and light. The furniture, fittings, beds, bedding etc. are all to a very high standard - it was super comfortable. The crockery, cutlery, items in the larder etc. were all also excellent. The heating was excellent. The location was perfect. All in all, almost impossible to fault - we absolutely loved it.

  Great location, right opposite the shipwright arms pub (which cannot be missed) and next to the village shop. Lots of places to walk locally or places to go & explore Cornwall. For ease of turning around would recommend parking nearer the bridge and walking 2 mins to the cottage but there is parking right outside. Cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Really warm and toastie and very clean. The cottage was more spacious than I was expecting which was great but as expected mind your head if you’re tall. Cannot fault, would love to come back and would highly recommend!!!

  'The Cottage' is fantastic. Perfect location, fully equipped with everything you need. A real home from home. The bedrooms are spacious with super comfortable beds. Lovely views across the river with a wonderful little courtyard garden.. fully enclosed, so perfectly safe for our little dog to play. Just a few metres to the Shipwright Arms and a short walk to Penarvon Cove and the little Ferry Boat crossing. The local shop is also very close by, stocking all your essentials. We really enjoyed our stay, it was truly relaxing.. we will definitely be back!

  We had an extremely relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Cottage in Helford. The village is magical, even in late January / early Feb and the walks around the area (Frenchman's Creek in particular) are beautiful. The cottage itself was warm and cosy and the view out onto the Helford estuary will live long in the memory. The Shipwrights Arms is literally a stone's throw away and is a superb pub; Despite ongoing building works they were very welcoming and hospitable. Would highly recommend to anyone!
