  We discovered Coverack the previous year and were keen to return to this quaint part of Cornwall. The house is situated on the coastal path with stunning views of the sea and surrounded by lush vegetation. The private decking area in front of the house is an absolute gem: a riot of flowers, the sound of waves lapping and seagulls swooping above and below, a wonderful place to soak up the sun or have a lively family meal. The house itself is extremely comfortable and imaginatively furnished with every amenity a guest could possibly want whilst the views from almost every window are stunning. The village shop has absolutely everything and the Paris Inn served an excellent birthday meal for our eldest son. The paddle boarding was great and the park not only perfect for little ones but with the most amazing vista. If you want a sandy beach keep an eye on low tide times and parking isn't a problem if you arrive early or late. I cannot recommend both the house and Cornwall Hideaways highly enough.

  Fantastic place to stay, the house itself was clean and warm and had everything you’d expect. The kitchen was small but wasn’t a problem. Towels and bedding were very good quality. Water was constantly hot which is a bonus and the views from the house and patio were exceptional. Patio furniture and seat pads provided too which was good. There were 4 adults in our party and was very comfortable, the area has great walks to loe bar, across the beach, around the harbour and there’s always something going on from boats sailing out to locals {and tourists) braving the waters in the outer harbour (we went in March) and there’s always surfers enjoying the waves. All in all a great holiday

  This is our 4th stay (I think!) in this property and we love it. Warm, cosy and homely. Excellent location and we are very grateful they take our dogs. Porthleven is our go to place for UK holidays now and we very much hope to come back next year . We recommend it to everyone! Porthleven has become our favourite UK holiday destination. With the dogs it can be hard to find suitable holidays, but Porthleven has it all, dog friendly beaches, pubs, restaurants and fantastic walking . No need to get in your car again all week! Above Beach Cottages have always been extremely helpful when we have tried to find accommodation and we cannot fault them . Just saving up to book next year now!

  Booked secretly by my tremendous partner, for a birthday getaway. This place was incredible! I dearly love Cornwall and Prospect Cottage ticked all the boxes. The location was un-believable and the view was awe inspiring. You could imagine Jack Sparrow ambling up the path in the evening, with wood smoke in the air and gulls calling. Prospect cottage is a credit to the Owners and their team. If you stay here you'll want for nothing, irrespective of the weather. This place is so comfortable, cosy, and immaculately presented. I'd buy it, if I had more than a thrupenny bit and a conker to my name, ha ha.
