This wonderful property has been converted and maintained to a high standard and retains many original features, which contribute to its characteristic charm. Guests can roam the local area on foot or on bicycle freely as there are plenty of paths and cycle routes to explore in the local and surrounding area.

We stayed from 16th-23rd November, and it was a cold snap. The barn itself is lovely, but the heating source is not great. Unfortunately Burtons Barn Farm only has underfloor heating and while this was fine in the bedroom it was not a sufficient source of heating for the lounge due to the open plan layout of the lounge, kitchen and long corridor to the bedroom. The ceilings are very high in this area, and as heat rises, it felt quite cool in the evenings. The heating was set at an optimal 21 degrees and is not controllable by guests which is not good. While this would be fine during September/October it is not from November onwards. The owner was unable to adjust it. We coped but unless the heating is improved for the winter months I would not recommend using it during the winter. I did suggest to the owner about additional heating, but she stated she did not have many bookings during this time. I think this is more reason to have additional heating installed.

Nice barn conversion, lovely peaceful and quiet location. Sofa and shower rack need attention. TV very small.
