  Everything was clean and ready for us to use.

  Didn't meet the owner just their daughter-in-law (& her lovely 2 girls!) and she was a darling, very helpful & sweet. Wonderful, cozy & quirky cottage attached to the farmhouse but with your own privacy. Nicely styled bedrooms, very different but all with super comfortable beds and lots of storage. Kitchen well equipped & we had a lovely welcome pack of milk, chocolate cake & white wine waiting for us. Wonderfully comfortable and cozy living room to lounge in after dinner with a book or a game. The hot tub was awesome, very large and with beautiful lights both inside the water & also over the heads on the wooden roof. We used it every evening & it was nice to soak in the hot water with the jets on while it was raining outside! One night the moon came out while we were in, that was unbelievable! I would highly recommend Isaacs cottage if you want peace, quiet & a bit off the beaten track. The scenery all around is breathtakingly beautiful, and tons of day trips await. To the near there are Allenheads, Allendale, which are both lovely! Stanhope was nice & isnt too far. Hexham, Durham, Corbridge (oh, don't miss Corbridge!! Wonderful little village with cafés, shops, church, great afternoon out!!), also Hadrian's wall only 30 min. away by car (various sites, if you have time try 2 or 3, they are all a bit different!) or villages up the coast are also doable. We went to Alnwick, lovely drive about 90 min. (if you dont take the A1 but go cross country you'll be amazed at how beautiful the countryside is!! Many photo spots await you there.). We took walks in the National park to the North, but there are walks really pretty from basically just up the road from the house as well!! We were very happy with the place and felt right at home when we arrived. There wasn't a thing we didn't like! Would love to return! What a wonderful week spent in this wonderful place! Just mind you, it's remote, and the farm track is a little bumpy in places, so drive carefully & don't bring your Porsche. ;-)

  Seabreeze is perfect for couples and families – spacious and with everything you need for a perfect holiday we had a great week here. The house is spacious and super-clean with gorgeous décor that mirrors a seaside house. It feels continental and is an upside down house. This means the open-plan living on the first floor is light and airy and has the added benefit of a separate utility room and dining room. The bedrooms are a good size with wardrobes, drawers and enough coat hangers! Bathrooms are plentiful too and all have showers and are fitted to a high standard. Seabreeze has wonderful extras provided including games, books, WiFi, Netflix etc. The house has balconies and a garden – stair gate and high chair were available and although younger children would need watching the house is good for a family holiday. The welcome hamper provided really set us up too and included milk, butter and bread. We would definitely recommend Seabreeze as a lovely house close to the center of Amble and also within walking distance of Warkworth. Perfect holiday house to explore this part of Northumberland.

  Fantastic Cottage!

  ! We visited on 29th December to see in the new year. The cottage was exactly as we hoped it would be, cosy and remote, away from any hustle. The directions were clear and we had no trouble finding it. We had brought a lot with us that we thought we might need but everything was supplied in terms of logs, toilet tissue, bin bags etc and there was enough cutlery and dishes for a large family and we were also welcomed with a nice message and a cake that we weren’t expecting. The cottage is well laid out and has ample room for four adults to live in comfort. We had two small dogs with us and they loved the walks around the area and then sleeping in front of the open fire. We couldn’t fault anything about our stay at all and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway.

  We had an amazing stay at Sea Breeze, it is of a very high standard and well equipped. I feel that Coquet Cottages have high standards in terms of product/portfolio in comparison to other competitors. This particular property is well appointed and in a great location for exploring Northumberland. The welcome hamper for humans and dogs were very much appreciated. Really lovely! The fresh bread and cake locally sourced was a real hit. The layout was spacious, comfortable and contemporary. The home was well cared for and the fittings were not just “basic holiday home”, you could really tell there was attention to detail and some serious thought gone into this house, we could live there! Thank you, we feel we can rely on Coquet Cottages for a great Northumberland stay.

  We really didn’t know what to expect with having a christmas away from home. However, the moment we entered Sea Breeze we felt right at home! The beds were super comfortable, showers were great – both the pressure and very spacious. The living area/kitchen/ dining area were perfect for socialising and enjoying Christmas with family. We have been coming to Amble for the last 30 years to visit family here and now we have found a perfect base. Our dog loved the back garden and our daughter loved the bedroom and ensuite to herself! The welcome hamper was very much appreciated and saved a trip back out to the shops. Thank you!
