Full of thoughtful touches for the guests, this lovely property can sleep up to five people and although modernised retains many original features and bespoke craftsmanship .

N.B. The property is across three floors, connected by a solid oak staircase and slate or hardwood flooring throughout, so we recommend children are closely supervised at all times. A lift is visible in the images for the property which is no longer in use. Guests should also be advised of the low hanging oak beams on the top floor.

A beautifully finished cottage, with plenty of space in the open plan top floor. Lots of character in the building and the furnishings & fittings. Well located to visit lots of places in the Lakes, and in a very quiet location. Only downside is that the garden is across the road for the dogs to use. Would definitely consider returning.

Great cottage with lovely space and comfy bedrooms. We found the sofas in the living room slightly uncomfortable but again very minimal critique.

Excellent, well-equipped property with views to die for. So comfortable and in a great location, with Hawkshead and Tarn Hows right on the doorstep. Also, great to have three bathrooms and parking for two cars. Will definitely return :)
