It has been refurbished and restored and now offers a comfortable accommodation with modern comforts. It retains lots of character with some original features and period ornaments.Size: Sleeps up to 5 people, 3 Bedrooms. Nearest beach: Approx 0.4 mile. Nearest amenities: Approx 0.5 mile. Pets: Two dogs are welcome.Short breaks: Accepted at this property. Smoking: Not allowed at this property. Rooms: 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Lounge, Kitchen, Diner, Outside Toilet. Beds: 1 king-size four-poster bed, 1 double bed, 2 single beds.     The house is really atmospheric and the decor works fantastic with the image of it. The kitchen is well equipped and the house very cosy

    Location is brilliant as it's in walking distance to Whitby town centre and, if you're lucky, parking is free outside the property. The property was clean and tidy and has many original features however the main living room is very dark and dingy. There was plenty of hot water with good pressure and the central heating worked well. Thankfully there is a microwave as the cooker has seen better days. The outside yard, described as a place to get some fresh air, is actually a 10ft by 5ft walled in space to access the outside toilet, washing machine and back gate. No one in their right mind would consider sitting out there! The master bedroom is over full with period furniture to the point that the door doesn't open properly which is very poor as it is at the top of a very steep stairway and small landing. The beddng is worn, old and in need of replacing or repair. The bathroom is very nice and the cast iron bath is quite comfy however the towels are old, discoloured and threadbare.
